Extensive ornamental gardens dominated by a romantic Gothic castle, built in 1801 of local sandstone. Beautfiul Temple Garden, Rose Garden and mixed borders.

Woodland walk with well planted with rhododendrons and magnolias.

Lovely memorial mosaic designed by Maggy Howarth.

Lakeside walks with picnic site and children's play area, farm animals and free flying aviary birds.

Private chapel in the park.

Unfortunately the castle is not open to the public.

Open until Thurs 29th September during 2011. Open Wed/Thur/Sun & Bank Holidays ONLY.
